We are 9 days away from the trade deadline, so I’ll likely dedicate my posts over the next two weeks to covering it. New rumors and reports are cycling out fast. Yesterday morning, Brian Windhorst said the Bulls spoke to the Suns about a Bradley Beal trade, which was shut down later that night.

My previous post was about the 14 teams currently projected to be taxpayers. I predicted which ones would and would not save money ahead of the trade deadline and by how much. After analyzing the biggest spenders, I now want to look at the other side of the spectrum. This post will examine the nine teams with the most flexibility to facilitate trades and take on money.
